We are starting a six-week journey in a new series on Lectio 365 called ‘Come Holy Spirit’. Leading up to Pentecost Sunday, we are exploring the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, learning to seek the Spirit, welcome his work in us, and to grow in confidence with the gifts the Spirit gives us.
There are different kinds of gifts,
but the same Spirit distributes them.
There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.
There are different kinds of working,
but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
As the series leads to Pentecost Sunday, we’re considering the gifts, both in the way they bless and build up the Church, but also in the context of mission. We are reflecting on not just the power and gifts of the spirit, but also the person of the Spirit that has come to be in and with us, and how the Spirit is developing us with the fruit.

If you want to read more about the Holy Spirit with us, we’d recommend The Familiar Stranger by Tyler Staton. Tyler is one of our regular hosts for Lectio 365 and will be hosting for the week beginning 5th May. You can go back and listen to his week in the Archive in the Lectio 365 app.
Lectio 365 relies entirely on the generosity of its supporters, we are so grateful for every donation that helps keeps this app free for everyone.
