The Way on Lectio 365

1 August, 2025

During our Generations series on Lectio 365, we are excited to collaborate with The Way in our morning devotionals.

Throughout the Generations series, running from 21st July to 31st August, some of the presenters of The Way will be reading the Bible passages in Lectio 365 morning prayers.

Generations is a series looking at the story of generations in the Bible; families experiencing the blessing and favour of knowing God, and the legacy of faith, promises, and patterns that extend through generations.

Over six weeks, this series will take us through a vision of the purpose of God to and for every generation, covering topics including presence, legacy, identity and freedom.

With a focus on an upcoming, Gen-Z audience and helping them engage in conversations about faith, The Way became an ideal group to invite into this series.

As well as their social media videos on Instagram & TikTok asking members of the public about faith, The Way publishes regular podcasts, Bible studies and interviews with Christian leaders, working in partnership with CofE Digital Projects.

During the Generations series, The Way will also be sharing weekly reflections on one of Lectio 365’s morning prayers Bible verses, based one the day’s ‘reflect’ section.

With Lectio 365, we want to help Christians everywhere develop a deeper, daily connection with God. Our daily rhythm of morning, midday and night prayers is based on a principle we Jesus and his disciples following, which the early church continued.

Since launching in 2019, Lectio 365 has helped thousands of people make prayer a regular, life-giving habit – wherever they are and whatever their day holds. Over 350,000 monthly users are using the app to ‘pray the Bible’, inspired by the ancient practice of lectio divina.
