I have been on a journey with the Spirit in the last 2 years, I asked for a new ‘prayer language’ believing that the gift of tongues may be something bestowed upon me. However, I have patiently learned about stillness and silence and liturgies and listening. My spirit and my days have been transformed and are still. This was all before discovering Lectio 365 app.

About 7 weeks ago, my Pops passed away very unexpectedly at the age of 67. I reside on the little island of Okinawa in the Pacific. My father lived in the U.S. I have felt helpless, isolated and upside down, unable to make decisions for myself often. My Pops was a devout prayer warrior in his later years and I have no doubt believing his prayers over his children and grandchildren and are being worked out even through the midst of the wilderness we are experiencing in his departure. The creativity and example of your work has given me that prayer language that I asked for years back now. If I could bear hug you all at the moment I totally would! Thank you my dear brothers and sisters for blessing a broken man, on an obscure island in the middle of the ocean, with the love of the Father, the leadership of the Son, and the tenderness of the Spirit. I can’t express fully in words my sincerest gratitude and affections for you. Know that I pray over each of you and your families… protection, purpose, provision and a deeper experience of the loyal love of our Mighty Maker.
